We visited Taylors Art & Coffee House, or as the locals call it Taylors Cafe, on a Sunday afternoon.
My mum described the Nutella cake as ‘to die for’ and I believe her! And not just because chocolate is so bad for dogs.

The cafe was busy but maintained a relaxed feel. Though this cafe does not specifically cater to pets if you behave yourself you are welcomed warmly by everyone there.
Taylors Cafe has a very rustic and charming appeal about it. Perfect for the whole family. Where kids can play in the sandpit and the grownups can sit and talk or view the art.
I had lots of shaded places to sit and made friends with the resident Greyhound, Henry who sits quietly under the kitchen window and minds his own business.

The cakes and coffees my parents ordered were on the pricier side but they could not fault the quality of the locally sourced and home grown produce. They were drooling over it nearly as much as I was!
Located in the Swan Valley, it was a bit of a drive to get there but worth the trip.
Taylors Cafe is surrounded by beautiful wineries to walk around if you want to make a day of it.
There was plenty of talk about a return to Taylors Cafe in the near future on the drive home. I can’t wait!
