Located right on the Swan River, Riverside Gardens is a real treat for dogs of all sizes and their families.
The Park boasts many features including a grassy open are, river access, a playground for the miniature humans to play in, gazebos, human facilities and an onsite coffee van.
Riverside Gardens is quite a popular dog park located off Milne Street in Bayswater. This park has fast become one of our favourite hangouts. The dogs are always friendly and their humans aren’t too bad either.
The grassy area is huge we can run and run and run to our heart’s content. Even on a busy day, there is plenty of room for everyone. The park faces directly onto the Swan River which we have access to by a small beach area. On a hot day, I love to have a paddle in the river and watch the braver dogs go for a swim.

This is a popular site for dog groups to catch up, as well as other functions like kids birthday parties. The playground equipment is all fenced off so we can’t get in and the little humans can’t get out keeping everyone safe and trample free.
The grounds and facilities are always clean and in good shape. There is plenty of parking for everyone including the Cool Breeze Café van.
This not so well kept secret is one of the reasons we love Perth so much! Beautiful river views friendly people and great atmosphere. You can find Riverside Gardens in our Directory.
