Why adopt?

Everyone deserves a second chance. Rescue animals come from all sorts of backgrounds but one thing they all have in common is that they are all deserving of love.

Save a life

Too many animals are euthanised every year in Australia. There are many amazing shelters and rescue groups working tirelessly to save these animals from death row and give them another opportunity at life. Your adoption fee goes back to the animals still in their care.

Do good, feel good

What feels better than doing a good deed? The unconditional love of your new rescue pet, that’s what.

Give another animal room in the shelter

Every day there are animals abandoned or surrendered. By taking home a rescue, you are giving one of these animals a place to stay until they too find their forever home.

Skip the puppy stage

A puppy or kitten is hard work. Most rescue pets have been house pets in the past and so have at least some basic training.

Find your match

With a rescue pet, the animal has been health checked and will have been assessed for temperament, manners and toilet training. You can find a new best friend to suit your personality and lifestyle.

Reduce overpopulation

All dog and cats that are re-homed have been spayed or neutered to reduce the problem of overpopulation and promote responsible pet ownership.
