In Western Australia, pet registrations are due on November 1.
To be a responsible pet owner and avoid on the spot fines, ensure your pet’s registration is up to date and the details are displayed on their collar at all times.

Dog registration
All dogs over the age of 3 months must be registered with your local council. As of 1 November 2013 it is required that all dogs need to be microchipped.

Cat registration
All cats over 6 months must be registered with your local council. As of 1 November 2013 it is required all cats over 6 months are sterilised and mircochipped.
