Rest in peace Grumpy Cat…the internet will miss you

Some days are grumpier than others…

This week the internet mourns the loss of everyone’s favourite lovable grump, Grumpy Cat, who passed away aged 7.

Grumpy Cat, whose real name was Tardar Sauce, went viral in 2012 when her now-famous frown was shared online and quickly turned into a meme.

On Tuesday, May 14 Grumpy Cat passed away peacefully in the arms of her mummy, Tabitha, from complications relating to a urinary tract infection.

“Grumpy Cat has helped millions of people smile all around the world – even when times were tough,” Grumpy’s family posted after the loss. “Her spirit will continue to live on through her fans everywhere.”
